i've always felt more at home exploring the world on my own, communicating directly. my fascination with the built environment is just as strong as the natural world. there's something wildly interesting about these big man-made things sitting out there taking up space. easy to understand why my undergrad degree was in architecture. over the years i've found that i prefer to capture their personalities once built instead of creating my own designs. there's more intense connection with the real thing rather than the abstract design.
