Information About The Artist

I honestly don't know what to say about myself as an artist.
I've only really considered myself a serious artist for a few years now.
In that time, I have changed focus and direction several times.
I've had times of amazing connection and prolific work
and other times of depression with very few visual creations.

Lately, I have had a strong urge to collect up the existing work
and figure out just what I am doing and plan the next direction.
It feels like I am at another evolutionary transition in my work.
This redesigned website is just another tangible method to organize the past.

My newer fine art work is becoming more open and painterly,
dealing more with emotion and concept than realistic representation.
The conversation with the muse is becoming deeper and yet more openly varied.

I think I like it.

I am currently working towards a graphics design degree to substantiate
my professional experience. In the graphic design arena, my work is becoming
more precise and controlled. Somewhat different than the fine art.
Yet both strive to maintain a sense of underlying unity and quality.
